As promised this post is going to be all about hotel comparisons in the lovely land of Mexico!! I have found some great places to stay on a budget, and some very glam places which are a little more expensive. So I'm hoping there is something to suit all! Here a little list of my top recommended places.
I have decided to begin my search in the Capital city...
Mexico City, Mexico
#1. Hotel Las Suites
Number 1 of my list is the 5 star hotel Las Suites situated in the heart of the capital city (the Polanco district). This hotel is a little bit different to the usual 5 star hotels you see around in the sense that. most of the rooms actually look like small apartments. They are very modern and minimalistic looking which is something I really love. The hotel itself offers all the usual facilities you would expect to see in a 5 star accommodation including a gym, spa and indoor pool area.
#2. Filadelfia Suites Hotel Boutique
This 3 star hotel is a little bit different to the first one I posted, It is a more budget friendly hotel and it is in a different part of town. You can choose from 4 types of accommodation in this hotel including, a standard studio (sleeps up to 4 persons), Standard double room (sleeps 2), Penthouse Suite and a Suite with a kitchenette (both sleeps 4 persons).

Cancun, Mexico
#3. Hotel Krystal Cancun
This 4 star hotel situated right by the ocean is perfect for that romantic get away holiday. There is a great restaurant on site which also offers delicious traditional Mexican food and fine wines from all over the world. This hotel is situated in a perfect location right near the beach and a short distance away from shops and other great local restaurants. The rooms in this hotel (which can be seen below) are modern, stylish and very comfortable, and all include all of the usual facilities you would expect in a great 4 star hotel.

Prices at this hotel do vary according to rooms and sizes so you will need to check prior to booking. If booking with booking.com you can find a standard room for just £60 per night. (with free cancellation before the 6th of December). Or for £127 you can get an all inclusive deal. All of these rooms offer a pay later service which is great as you don't have to pay up front.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
#4. Hotel Catedral Vallarta
If you are looking for a hotel that is budget friendly then this absolutely has to be it! This hotel is very cheap and cheerful with rooms priced at just £27 per night! Breakfast also comes cheap here at just £5 per person. Although this hotel is small (with just 21 rooms) each room is decorated differently giving each room a sense of its own original style. The hotel itself is situated in a great spot in town and is only 2 blocks away from the beach, and the main square. If you choose to stay here you also get free access to the private beach club which is complete with beach huts and lounges and all guests receive discount on food and drink here.
