Italy||Rome

This evening's blog post will be a feature on the very historically beautiful city of Rome in Italy. Although I haven't had the chance to visit this stunning place myself  as a keen traveller and scenery fanatic It is definitely on my bucket list for this year. Here is my guide to Rome and all the wonderful exciting things to see and do there..

There are so many great attractions to choose from and choosing can certainly be a difficult task when you don't know much about a place so here are a few things I think should be on everyone's list when planning their trip to Rome.

So lets start off with some of the more famous ones...

Whenever I think of Rome the one attraction that immediately springs to mind is the famous Colosseum (Coloesso). The building itself is located in the heart of the city and attractions millions of tourists each year and it still has very close connections to the Roman Catholic church.

Entry to this famous monument's interier area is completely free for EU citizens under the age of 18 and over the age of 65.. There is also a mesuem dedicated to Eros which can be found on the upper floor of the outer wall of the building.

Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi) is another great attraction to visit whilst holidaying in Rome. This fountain is mostly known for its myth that- If you throw a coin into the fountain you can secure your return to Rome, as it is supposed to a magical and mythical symbol of Rome in ancient times. You can find the Trevi Fountain located in a small piazza off Via del Tritone, but if you are happening to have a wander round the city it is very accessible to find as it is a very popular hotspot for tourists.

Another great place which attracts losts of tourists is the Spanish Steps (Scalinata di Trinita dei Monti)
