A-Z||G.

We are well under way with the A-Z list of countries and this post (G for those who haven't had the chance to catch up) is all about Guatemala.

The Republic of Guatemala, or Guatemala as it is more commonly known for those of you who don't know is a country in South America. It borders the Caribbean sea, between Honduras and Belize and the North Pacific Ocean, between El Salvador and Mexico. It has a population of close to 14 million (as of July 2013) and is the most populous of the Central American countries. The official language of the country is Spanish.

 In this post I will be focusing on the different tours you can go on whilst in Guatemala. I will be giving you lots of information on where you can find these tours and what reputable companies to book with so you get the best value for your money. Here is a suggestion from a tour I found on the internet earlier today...

If you are looking for your own South American adventure the best place to start is with Lonely Plants tour guide. It has all the information you could need on each tour and it even gives a guide price so you know from the off how much you need to budget for.
You can find it by clicking HERE

It appears that from looking on the website the most popular tour is the first one- A Central America Explorer. For around £1399 and a 14 day stay you can expect to tour around Central America taking in all the wonderful heritage sites, the stunning beaches, wildlife and dine at some of the best restaurants. As well as all of this you will have a chance to meet some great people, who all want to share the same experience along the way.  For a full guide of what places you will visit each day please look HERE

There are quite a few different tours out there its just a matter of knowing which ones are right for you. I hope although this post has been short and sweet, it has also been informative and inspiring you to book a tour to the South of America.
