H is for.... HUNGARYThis post is all about a fun weekend get away in the capital city of Budapest

I haven't done one of these for a while so thought I would feature it in my A-Z somewhere. So far I haven't had the chance to really focus on any of my favourite European cities, but Hungary is somewhere I constantly keep hearing about so here we have a fun weekend away in the capital of Budapest.

Lets start with flights...

You can catch a flight from London with most low budget airlines, Easy jet and Ryan Air being the most popular. On Sky Scanner (a cheap flight comparison website) flights from London Stansted to Budapest flying with Ryan Air are from around £106.

The duration of the flight takes approx 2 hours and 25 minutes, a perfect amount of time for a long weekend get away, giving you extra time to explore the great city.

Where to stay?...

Once you have found your flight you are going to want to think about accommodation? whether that be in the form of a hotel/ b&b, hostel or a rented apartment. There are lots of great places to stay you just have to be prepared!

Looking to party? then a budget hotel near the city centre is something you should be looking for. If you haven't exactly come to Budapest for the culture but for a slice of the party action then I recommend staying in...

Hotel President

located in the city centre on Hold Street this 4 star hotel is great value for money. With a double room for 2 nights priced at just £134, with breakfast included this deal is great. It is suitable for both a couples holiday and a city break, and there are lots of facilities on offer to you including full use of the pool area. If you would like to get more info on the hotel itself and to book a room you can do so here on booking.com.
