A Monthly Round Up||October

I know lots of people have similar types of posts they make at the end each month- and I thought this month I would jump on the bandwagon! This month has been a very special month for me and a slightly sad one too. I always feel slightly sad at the end of October because that is when it really sinks in that Yes I have turned a whole year older!

This birthday however has been so memorable and so full of laughs and amazing company that I haven't felt sad once! In fact this is the first year since I can remember that I'm actually looking forward to my future instead of dreading it. This is the first year I believe I have been truly happy, and I'm very very excited to see what else is in store for me this year.

So to celebrate the end of my Birth Month and the start of Autumn here are a few things that have made me happy in October!!....

-My top posts this month-
-The stuff I have been
 loving-

So this month I have been really loving decorating my bedroom. Although I haven't got very far on the actual painting side of things, I have been busy choosing all my furniture(yet to find the perfect bed though). I went to Ikea a few Sunday's ago and picked out lots of different bits and bobs. I was also given a beautiful Ballerina lamp for my birthday which I think will go lovely in my new room.

-Smycka Artificial Flowers in Various Colours £1.00

You might also remember a couple of weeks back I posted about my new Kylie Minogue 'Mezzano' bed spread. If you didn't get a chance to read about it you can do that here.  I have yet to test it out on my bed but as soon as I do I will get photos of it.

- Plans for next month-

I have just about used all my holiday up from Work now as we only get 16 days throughout the year (we have to keep a mandatory 2 weeks holiday at Christmas) so I can't really book any more spontaneous holidays for a while :( boohoo. BUT it doesn't mean I can't plan some for next year and I still have my weekends to explore places!- So every cloud and all that...

-Diversity-

On November 21st we are going to see Diversity live at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. We booked it way back in January after watching them perform on TV. This is the first time we have both been to see a dance act live and I am quite looking forward to it. I have loved them ever since they appeared on Britain's Got Talent so I think it should be a good night out. I will of course post all about it nearer the time.
Here is a video from their tour last year...

-Paris||France-

We are also planning a weekend in Paris to see in the New Year. Paris is one of my favourite places EVER! and its so easy to get there from London, we are planning to book our flights soon as it very cheap when you do it in advance. If we were to leave the booking until the last minute the price would most probably double. We were thinking of going when we have our two weeks off at Christmas, possibly the 30th December until the 4th of January- more on this nearer the time.
