Yearly Round Up||2015

Every single year for the past 3 years I have always said that I would end that current year of blogging with a round up post. Well I have pretty much failed every year so far!. This year has been a complete game changer for me in all aspects of life including writing. I am finally at a place where I am happy with my blog and the content I am posting weekly and cannot wait to share all my new ideas with you next year. Here is a little celebration of some of my past posts and also a little brief overview of what's to come next year.

Overall I would say this year has been very good to me. It has most definitely been the busiest and most adventurous travel wise. I have been very lucky enough to have had 5 holidays this year and each one has been just as fantastic and memorable. If you have been following my blog throughout the year you may have already seen a few of the posts I wrote on each place I got to visit. If you would like a re-cap click on each link below.

-Post's of the Year from 'Glam Travel Guide'-

Here are a few other favourite posts I wrote this year.

1. Photo of the Week

This was a new idea for my blog I had whilst sitting on a beach in Tenerife back in August. Every week from then on I was going to post a photo of something I have either loved doing/seeing, eaten or purchased and so far I have managed to keep it up pretty much every week since, and I love that it reminds me of all the great things I have seen each week.

Very first photo of the week

This was an idea which originated from The Photo of the week series. I had seen this done on a few different blogs which I follow and love the idea. I think it is a great way to round up the week and it always gives me great inspiration for the weekend. It is definitely one of my favourite things about a Friday.

3. Travel Guide Tuesday's

This is my newest series, which I introduced back in
November. So far I have written 4 Travel Guide Tuesday posts all in Europe (Sofia, Oslo, Amsterdam and Copenhagen).

I thought of the name because I was reading a post called 'Wanderlust Wednesday' on a travel blog and really liked the idea of writing about a different country to explore on a certain day of the week. I decided that writing one a week would be a bit too much so decided to settle to one Travel Guide every fortnight.  I have some exciting Cities coming up next year so make sure you check back each Tuesday to read them.

-Plans for Glam Travel Guide
 next year-

I have had such fun this year writing Glam Travel Guide and hope I feel the same this time next year. Next year I am planning to take my blog down a new route, I will hopefully be posting more series and new weekly content.

I have a couple of new series' confirmed already, and of course some old favourites will be returning. Read below for more info.

**NEW**

-A-Z Top 2 Countries-

This new series will be based on my last one I wrote in 2013, this series will be packed with more content and images. It will still remain factual in and in terms of its style I hope it will be much like the series I am writing at the moment 'Travel Guide Tuesday'. The aim of each post is to pick 2 countries, explore their capital cities and then decide from there which out of the two I would prefer to visit. I will try and write 1 post per week.

-The Borough's of London-

This is another new series I am planning to introduce alongside the A-Z top Countries. I was inspired from reading someone's travel blog all about London. The jist of their idea was to visit a town in each Borough of London. They then wrote a mini review of all the things they saw/ate/drank/got up to there. Their review was very personal to them, mine will be different as it will be more factual and details. I will compare each town in each Borough and hope to feature this on the blog once a month.

**OLD FAVOURITES**

-Travel Guide Tuesday's-

I will still be continuing with my latest mini series 'Travel Guide Tuesday' I have lots more exciting European capitals to explore, and I also hope to tick some off my own bucket list next year as well.

-Photo of the Week-

I will still be posting a photo once a week of something I am loving that week. I will also try to incorporate it into my Friday Favourites post so you get a bit more info on what it is I am loving each week.

-Friday Favourites-

The ever popular 'Friday Favourites' will be making a return in 2016. I will continue to post my weekly updates each Friday. Popular topics you can expect to see each week will include everything on Travel, Beauty, Fashion, Home, Food and Drink, TV, Favourite Quotes and more.
-Monthly Round Up's-

I love writing these end of the month round up's. I think they really help summarise each month. I know I am going to love looking back on each month at the end of every year. I hope it will remind me of how amazing the year has been.

In terms of future blogging ideas, I am also looking to write more about other continents as opposed to Europe which most of my posts are based upon. I want to explore tropical Countries and Countries which I am not familiar with, researching these will be a big part of the process next year for this blog.

So that's where my blog is currently at, at the moment and I hope my new ideas for next year have excited you and wanted you to carry on following my writing. It is certainly going to be a busy year on this blog if I manage to fit in everything above. I hope you all have enjoyed following the blog so far this year and hope you have enjoyed all my new content. I hope you all have an AMAZING end of the year and great start to next year. Cannot wait to return with some new blog material next year.

In terms of 'real life' I have had an amazing and rather adventurous 2015, I am also finally happy career wise and have been in a lovely relationship with someone I adore for the past year. I cannot really ask for more for the new year ahead except that all my friends and family keep their good health and that I get to of course travel to some more AMAZING places.  (Feel free to chuck a bit more money my way to make this possible).
