London||M Restaurant, Threadneedle Street

This is my second post in my new restaurant/bar series in London. As you all know by now new & old followers, I am slightly obsessed with this City. Not only was I born here (and currently still live) but I work here too and have had many a fantastic night out along the way. I often spend my weekends looking for new places to try out and this week I want to tell you all about an amazing little Steak and Grill place up the city, it is called M! and it is owned by the same person that own Gaucho's (my most favourite restaurant in the whole wide world) so you know before you even step foot in the door its going to be a goodie!!- I can 100% vouch that it is, in fact one of THE best Steak places I have ventured too in London to date.

The Facts:

So lets get the factual details out of the way before I make you all hungry shall we? So M Restaurant is fairly new and opened in 2014, as mentioned above it was created by the same boss who owns Gaucho's, Martin Williams (Can I marry this man please?). The M brand currently has 2 restaurants open in Central London, the first one to open was in Threadneedle Street, the second and most recent in Victoria and M also has a Wine Store, where you can purchase their wines either in the shop or online. The restaurants are currently Winner of 'Best New UK Restaurant 2015' and is still continuing with multiple successes.

I was lucky enough to visit the restaurant located on Threadneedle Street (near Bank Stations), and the menu was sensational- I am imaging the menu at the other restaurant will be just as good!. My first visit was actually back last Christmas, with my work colleague on one of our Christmas outings. My boss luckily managed to secure us all the private dining room situated at the top deck of the restaurant, out of the way of the other diners. (Photo above) It was an amazing experience, especially as I have never dined in a private area before! The staff were so accommodating and friendly, service was fantastic. They didn't even mind that we stayed for nearly 7 hours (We were also drinking and socialising in the bar area). This place was fantastic for our Christmas Party and I am sure it would be just as fantastic if I was to come with a group of friends or my partner and parents.

Unfortunately I only got a couple of photographs (I was enjoying my food and cocktails far to much) but my boyfriend and myself are planning to go back one evening next month so I am sure I will be taking lots more then for you all. For now though here's I few I got back  during my visit at Christmas last year....

The Verdict:
Beautiful restaurant in an amazing location, very easily accessible from anywhere in town (Threadneedle St Restaurant). Absolutely want to go back to this restaurant for a more intimate dinner. Will be visiting the restaurant in Victoria Street soon to compare.

Overall an amazing experience with colleagues, staff were very attentive and friendly so I would give this restaurant a rating of 8/10 overall as it was not as good as my experience in Gaucho's and during my visit the Fire Alarms went off and everyone was evacuated and made to stand outside for half an hour- in the freezing December air. Apart from that little hiccup though the meal was very enjoyable.
