My Ultimate New Year Bucketlist: 2017
Every new year I like to add some new little additions to Glam Travel Guide's bucket list, and this year is certainly no different. Recently I have been reflecting on some of the amazing places I have been lucky enough to visit and with that always comes more planning of places to visit in the future.
So with that in mind here is a little list I have complied fresh for this new year. I have also added a few things I would like to visit once there (the main tourist sights) and my reasoning's for wanting to visit. I am also going to feature my dream luxury hotel in each place at the end! So hope this post inspires you to write out your bucket lists too, I would love to here from you, especially if you have visited any of these places, and what your thoughts were after your trip?
Top Attractions I want to visit:
Why it is on my bucket list: So the next two destinations are really inspired by my parents. The Maldives Island's are their favourite holiday destination, they have been an amazing 5 times so far, and have stayed on 3 different islands, returning twice to their favourite island called Kuredo. Even though I am someone who likes to be quite active on holiday, and have a lot of options of places to go, this is on my bucket list because I think the older we get the more relaxed we want to feel. My parent cannot recommend the island and the people enough (staff & holiday makers alike), and they always manage to make so many friends each time they visit. I do not have any top attractions for this entry, because to be honest the island itself is the main attraction here!
Why it is on my bucket list: Again another country inspired by my parents. 26 years ago they decided to get married on this island, and have been madly in love ever since! I would love the opportunity to visit this place with them one day, so they can show me the exact spot they said their vows. I would also LOVE to get married in the same spot as them one day too, I think it would also be a lovely thing to be able to tell my children and would hope they would want to carry on the family tradition with us.

Why it is on my bucket list: Again this is another work hard, play even harder destination I am intrigued by. I cant say I am particularly into all the gambling that is associated with this place, but that doesn't mean I wont be trying it out for myself. I really want to stay in one of the themed hotels, but as you will see below my DREAM hotel to stay in here is of course The Caesar's Palace (even though it is only a 4 star hotel), it is so iconic. A girl can dream hey?
Las Vegas Strip
Ceasers Palace
New York-New York Hotel and Casino
The Venetian Las Vegas
4. Venice, Italy

Why it is on my bucket list: For as long as I have remembered I have wanted to come to Venice. Although I am not a big fan of water, this place is simply just breathtaking. The hotels, buildings, restaurants all look so luxurious and I LOVE Italian architecture (my love comes from visiting Rome, my favourite place on earth). I really want to see more of Italy in the future as I think it is such a classy place! Venice will definitely be my next destination here to see for sure.
Top Attractions I want to visit:
Grand Canal
Piazza San Marco
Doge's Palace
Saint Mark's Basilica
Why it is on my bucket list: There is something that has always drawn me to Tokyo and I cannot really put my finger on the reason why. Maybe it is because it is so advanced technologically, and I often think of myself as someone who is very technically minded. I also love the fact that the city is known for being a bit wacky (and some may say tacky), I feel like If I was to embark on an adventure here, It certainly wouldn't be boring and I am sure I would have so many great stories to come back with. I also REAAAALLY want to get an arty photo of the Shibuya crossing.

Why it is on my bucket list: I have watched quite a few documentaries on Singapore now and the more I see the more it inspires me to visit for myself. I especially love how built up the area is, I think the Singapore skyline is so beautifully constructed. I also love that the buildings contrast with the bay and all of the natural space around it. I think its such an interesting place to see. I also especially want to visit Marina Bay Sands Hotel's infamous infinity pool! It looks the dream.
