Weekly Round Up: 24th February 2017

Another week down, and another weekend to look forward to! This one is going to be a relaxing one for me, No travelling, working or studying. I am going to be catching up on all my chores and sleeping the weekend away- something I haven't done in what feels like months! Here is a little insight into what life has been like this week for me.
Hope you all have a great well deserved weekend off like me!

LOVES

1. Being proud of myself and my accomplishments

I know it might seem big headed of me starting my Loves  with a comment on my own piece of work, but this is a rare feeling for me, I never give myself praise for good work (be it blog writing or general work related projects), and will admit now I am very rarely 100% happy with the content I produce on here, mainly because it feels so rushed and not well planned out (as I usually have another million and one things to do every , but my personal piece on my Post Valentines day Barcelona trip, which I posted last week made me feel a very rare emotion and that is proud!  I am hoping to do more personal posts like this on the blog this year. Hopefully my study commitments don't get too much in the way of my travel plans for this year.

2. Date Night in Leicester Square

Last Thursday myself and my boyfriend did a rare thing and went out for a bit of food and a bit of a bar crawl up the west end. We used to do this all the time when we first met as we both work up the city and it was so easy for us to just meet up after work and head out. That is one of the best things about the City, it is alive even on a Thursday!! I have heard Thursday is the new Friday, its great as well because you can get into any bars without the awful queues on a Thursday, you should all try it at least once and tell me how you get on- just don't spend ALL night in the Casino.

3. Turning a corner with self study

So this week I think I have finally turned a corner with my studies. The past few weeks I won't lie It has made me what to give up entirely! BUT I have been so motivated and have managed to get so much done this week, I have a whole new outlook on studying, and this is largely down to planning at the start of the week! I find keep a diary and  writing myself 'to do lists' have seemed to really help this week, so I will continue this in the hope it will benefit my future studies. Hopefully I have found my flow now, and this will be the start of something brilliant.

HATES

1. Waiting for bad news

So last Friday afternoon was a pretty rough day for me and my family, as we were all awaiting some very important news about  a very ill family member. Unfortunately the news was as we anticipated, not very good, but that hasn't stopped us from being hopeful and positive, we are all trying to come to terms with the news but the best thing we are trying to be is supportive and of course positive! It's going to be a tough few months ahead, but hopefully things will work out okay in the end fingers crossed!

2. Bills Bills Bills

Is it just me or does ALL of our money get taken up by paying Bills? I feel like this week all I have done is shell out money for things, if it isn't the rent and council tax, then its the electricity and water that needs paying and don't even get me started on phone bills- I must have shares in EE by now!. I am very much in need of pay day next Friday, I honestly do not know where my money goes. I think I might have to do the really 'adult' thing and treat myself to a bottle of wine for getting through another month of bill paying!! who's with me?
